PEM Tropics A P-3B Remotely Sensed DataPEM-Tropics-A_AircraftRemoteSensing_P3B_Data is the remote sensing data collected onboard the P-3B aircraft during the Pacific Exploratory Mission (PEM) Tropics A suborbital campaign. Data from actinometers is featured in this collection. Data collection for this product is complete. From 1983-2001, NASA conducted a collection of field campaigns as part of the Global Tropospheric Experiment (GTE).

First ISCCP Regional Experiment - Arctic Cloud Experiment Utrecht University Tethered BalloonThe First ISCCP Regional Experiments (FIRE) have been designed to improve data products and cloud/radiation parameterizations used in general circulation models (GCMs). Specifically, the goals of FIRE are (1) to improve basic understanding of the interaction of physical processes in determining life cycles of cirrus and marine stratocumulus systems and the radiative properties of these clouds duri

Soil thermal profiles, volcano thermal monitoring, radiometry and some meteorological variables in Deception IslandIn English: Data are collected from three meteorological stations. Each station is located near the different vertices of the geodetic net named REGID. The referred vertices are: BEGC, COLA and GEOD. This geodetic net is located on Deception Island. We name each meteorological station with the name of the nearest vertex of REGID. We denote year as the time period between two consecutive closures o

Anchored observation in Nakazaki, Akashi-City14 items (air temperature, water temperature and precipitation, etc) were measured at anchor at Nakazaki, Akashi-City. Measurments were carried out everyday from April 1973 to March 1992. The results of the observations are published by the reports of the HPFES. The input data capacity of latitude and longitude values are limited only to degrees. The exact values are as follows: Min. Latitude: 34d

UV Radiation at Robert Island, South Shetland, AntarcticaSolar ultraviolet radiation measurements by means of chemical actinometry and spectroradiometric instrumental were carried out at the Risopatron base at Robert Island, Antarctic, during January 1996. The maxim irradiance of the UV-A and UV-B spectral range were detected between 13:00 and 14:00 hrs (local time) under clear sunny days. The actinometric measurements agree our spectroradiometric deter
