Description
This series contains information on the health concerns of U.S. veterans of the Persian Gulf War. Included is information on veterans' exposure to and the health effects of chemical and biological warfare agents, veterans' medical care and evaluation, clinical treatment and support programs and other investigations and research about what is known as Gulf War Syndrome.
The records also include evaluations of the government's response to veterans' illnesses, particularly the programs of the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
