Antarctic Microbiology - Bacterial Flora Of Fishes And Krill

Listed in NASA Earthdata CMR

The aim of this study was to analyze the bacterial flora associated with krill and different Antarctic fishes in order to understand the role of this flora in the biology and phisiology of the species.

Description

This research includes: - Isolation of bacterial strains associated to krill and fishes. - Taxonomic analysis of the isolated strains. - Comparation between associated microflora and the flora of the environment. - Study of some physiological characteristics of the isolated bacteria.
