Short-winged alpine Orthoptera of the Mont Avic - Mont Emilius Special Area of Conservation (IT1202020 - Natura2000 Code) and surroungings (2019-2023)

This dataset provides 258 georeferenced occurrence records of four endemic Orthoptera species from the north-western Italian Alps (Anonconotus ghilianii, Anonconotus pusillus, Epipodisma pedemontana and Stenobothrus ursulae), along with two more widely distributed short-winged species (Bohemanella frigida and Podisma pedestris). Additionally, four original records are included for Anonconotus ghilianii from its easternmost isolated range and for Anonconotus alpinus from the western sector of the Aosta Valley.
