Leaf beetles (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) and weevils (Coleoptera: Curculionoidea) of PSU's Botanical Garden (Perm, Russia)

This study was conducted between 2021 and 2024 using pitfall traps at 11 different outdoor sampling sites. The dataset includes 918 occurrence records of leaf beetles (Chrysomelidae) and weevils (Curculionoidea), representing 92 species from 45 genera and 3,824 individuals.

The dataset includes representatives of five families: Chrysomelidae (33 species; 255 occurrence records, 823 individuals), Curculionidae (45 species; 468 records, 2,797 individuals), Apionidae (10 species; 85 records, 192 individuals), Brentidae (3 species; 9 records, 11 individuals), and Brachyceridae (1 species; 1 record, 1 individual). All records have been georeferenced and linked to essential metadata such as the date, altitude, type of habitat, information about the collection method, and the amount of effort.
