This dataset explores the variations in ankle muscle coactivation across three distinct groups: a non-obese control group, an obese android group characterized by a waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) greater than 1, and an obese gynoid group with a WHR less than 1.

The primary focus of this study is to understand the impact of body mass distribution on gait parameters and ankle muscle coactivation in obese individuals. This comparison aims to shed light on how different obesity patterns influence lower limb biomechanics during movement
