Arctic Regional Climate System (ARCSYM) Model Output

Listed in National Center for Atmospheric Research

The Arctic Region Climate System Model (ARCSyM, Lynch et al 1995) has been developed for studies of ocean-ice-atmosphere and land-atmosphere interactions in the high latitudes on seasonal to interannual timescales.

Description

It was developed from the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) Regional Climate Model Version 2 (RegCM2, Giorgi et al. 1993), with changes intended to enhance the performance of the model at high latitudes, and to enable studies of the coupled system.
