Ambient radioactivity data from S. Jorge island (Azores), since March 2022

Radon gas is measured continuously outdoors in the soil subsurface (at a shallow depth of ~0.5m ) while gamma radiation and the environmental parameters are measured close to the radon sensor (< 3 m) but indoors (inside the school). Measurements were performed originally every 1-second, and aggregated into values every 2-hours (for radon concentration) and every1-minute (for the other parameters). The files contain: a time stamp (yyyy-mm-dd HH:MM:SS) and the value of the corresponding parameter: Radon: radon gas concentration (Bq/m3) Gamma radiation: gamma ray counts (in counts/minute) Temperature: temperature (in deg C) Pressure: atmospheric pressure (hPa).
