Development of electrochemical cells for in situ spectroelectrochemical analysis employing BCDI and other related techniques

This research was developed based on the collection and analysis of data related to the development of spectroelectrochemical cells during the PhD of Rafael Vicente, supervised by Professor Pablo Fernández and Professor Itamar Neckel.
Description
The data were obtained through a combination of conventional electrochemical experiments and in situ experiments using the developed cells. Most experiments were performed using either benchtop equipment or a synchrotron radiation beamline.
After collection, the information was organized into chapters according to each stage of the proposed research process. Chapter 1 introduces the concepts of in situ spectroscopy and synchrotron radiation. Chapter 2 discusses the necessary steps involved in the development of the spectroelectrochemical cells.

The following chapters provide a broad summary of the applications enabled by the developed cells, which include proof-of-concept studies as well as novel fundamental analyses. The dataset purpose is to provide access to the raw data used in the generator PhD thesis in the State University of Campinas (Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP), with the title: "IN SITU SPECTROSCOPIC INVESTIGATION OF ELECTROCATALYSTS: FROM CELL DESIGN TO FUNDAMENTAL REACTIVITY STUDIES".
