Promoting Social Housing in Paris, dataset and codes

These files contain the main data and codes to replicate several results presented by Belloy and Candau (2024) that analyzes the impact of compensation laws in Paris that aim to foster the redevelopment of empty offices and commercial units into social housing.
Description
We find that these laws have been quite ineffective in fostering social housing and social diversity at the district level (IRIS) in Paris. See the article "Promoting Social Housing : Insights from Redevelopment Policies in Paris" for data description and discussions on the estimator used (Synthetic Difference in differences and Difference in Discontinuity).
