Dataset on the Transformation of Nitrogen in Crop Straw in Black Soil and Microbial Ecological Characteristics

This comprehensive dataset is derived from a series of controlled experiments conducted by the Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (including the Harbin campus and the Hailun Soil and Water Conservation Monitoring Station), covering various research systems such as field experiments, pot-based microcosms, and rhizobox cultures. The data, from an integrated perspective of plants-soil-microorganisms, consolidate the following four core categories: Dynamics of nitrogen uptake and distribution in crops (based on 15N isotope tracing); Nitrogen fate and turnover in the soil-plant-microbe system (three-year pot experiment, 15N labeling); Bacterial and fungal community structure and functional gene abundance (amplified fragment length polymorphism + metagenomics + qPCR); Microbial community responses along the rhizosphere spatial gradient (rhizobox compartmental sampling).

The data time span is from 2016 to 2020, covering key growth stages of soybeans (V5, R1, R3, R5, R8), with treatments including corn straw (CR), representing the typical straw returning mode in the Northeast Black Soil Region.
