Compiled Dataset: Transparent biomaterial films from ocular lens crystallin proteins

This collection contains the characterisation data of thin film materials produced from Hoki fish lens crystallin proteins.
Description
These thin films have been designed to replace human amnionic membrane as a therapeutic ophthalmic bandage and cell carrier. Three formulations have been included, which differ in their crosslinking method.
Comparisons have been made between each crystallin thin film formulation and against glycerol-preserved human amnionic membrane where possible. For a full discussion of the data presented, please see the paper "Transparent biomaterial films from ocular lens crystallin proteins" by the same authors.
