Measurements of oceanic organosulfur compounds, halocarbons and alkyl nitrates made during the AMT9 research cruise in the Atlantic Ocean during September and October 1999

The cruise began on 15th September 1999 and ended on 13th October 1999 with a spatial coverage of +49N to +36S latitude and +11W to +51W longitude. Organosulfur measurement details: -150 measurements of the concentration of dissolved dimethylsulphoniopropionate (DMSP) per unit volume of the water column by Millipore prefiltration and gas chromatography); -157 measurements of the concentration of particulate dimethylsulphoniopropionate (DMSP) per unit volume of the water column by Millipore prefiltration and gas chromatography); and -153 measurements of concentration of dimethyl sulfide (DMS) per unit volume of the water column by filtration, purging, cryogenic trapping and gas chromatography See below for further details.
