The two men both have moustaches, and both are wearing hats and suits. They are standing to the right of a metal machine most likely used to make cable car track.

Behind them to the right is a lumber pile and a building with a crude shelter added to the left side. Directly behind them is a two-story building, probably the main factory, judging from the seven smoke stacks on the roof. There is a ladder leaned against the clapboard wall of this building.
