Listed in GBIF and Researchdata.se — shown once because both records carry DOI 10.15468/bhpa5t

The Linnaeus Garden is located at the site of the first botanical garden in Sweden founded in 1655 by Olof Rudbeck.

Description

It gained worldwide fame thanks to Carl Linnaeus who first, as a student, used his sexual system for plant classification in the garden before publishing it in 1735. Today's garden is a reconstruction of Linnaeus's baroque style garden.

Only plants grown in the garden during Linnaeus's days are displayed.
