First record of Simulium noelleri species complex (Diptera: Simuliidae) in Central Kazakhstan

This dataset contains occurrence records of Simullium noelleri species complex (Diptera: Simuliidae) from Central Kazakhstan.
Description
Specimens were collected from four sites along the Esil River in Astana from May to September 2025. This is the first record of the species for Central Kazakhstan.
The species was found on anthropogenic substrates including construction debris and plastic waste. A total of 15 imagoes, 146 larvae, and 85 pupae were examined and identified.
