Records of vascular plants (Tracheophyta phylum) of the Right Bank forest-steppe of Ukraine made in 2024

The data were collected during field surveys in mainly poorly studied areas, selected according to satellite images of Google Maps as potentially valuable for the creation of objects of the nature reserve fund (NRF). The main attention was paid to territories with a low degree of anthropogenic load: forests, steppe glades, river banks, forest edges, etc.

A significant part of the expeditions was carried out with the support of the non-profit organization “Ukrainian Nature Conservation Group”. The purpose of the research is to document the diversity of vascular plants to assess the state of natural and semi-natural ecosystems of the region, identify habitats of rare species and increase the completeness of the presentation of floristic data in open databases.
