FTIR Spectral Data of Japanese Quince Biomass and Extracts

The spectra of Japanese quince biomasses (Fruit, twigs, leaves, peels, pulp and pomace) and their extracts were obtained with the Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) FTIR (Nicolet iS20; Thermo Fisher Scientific, Karlsruhe, Germany) equipped with a diamond prism across the range 4000 to 400 cm−1, with a resolution of 2.0 cm−1 and 100 scans per spectrum (background collection was done in between each sample). Each obtained profile presented represents the average of three spectra.

Data The dataset in the form of an Excel spreadsheet was composed of the representative individual FTIR-ATR profiles (raw data) of each by-product and extract: Absorbance vs. Wavenumber, cm-1. To simplify the reusing of data, on the separate CSV spreadsheet all raw FTIR-ATR profiles were presented and the same profiles are presented as graph (Absorbance vs. Wavenumber, cm-1).
