California Water Rights Points of Investigation List

A Point of Investigation is the geographic area associated to a water right investigation. POI is a location of interest during an investigation and there may be several POIs in an investigation.

Generally, POIs can be permit/license/statement PODs, places of use, point of alleged unauthorized diversion, place of alleged unauthorized use. Each row in the dataset corresponds with a unique Point of Investigation ID and its associated data. The list include basic summary information about the Water Right Investigation record, such as the type and status, the location of the Point of Investigation, the inspections and summary data associated with the electronic Water Right record.
