Genome datasets of Myristica fragrans and Cananga odorata

Leaf tissues from seedlings were sampled: Myristica fragrans was collected from the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (Yunnan, China), whereas Cananga odorata was obtained from the South China Botanical Garden. Genome assembly was performed by combining ultra‑long ONT reads with Hi‑C chromatin‑contact capture technology.The dataset contains the following files: genome assembly sequences in FASTA format; genome annotation files in GFF format; repeat‑sequence annotation files in GFF3 format; and CENH3‑ and NASP‑related sequence files packaged in NASP_CENH3.zip, FASTA format.FASTA and GFF are standard bioinformatics formats.

The dataset exhibits high overall completeness with no systematic missing entries. Genome‑quality assessments fully validate the reliability and accuracy of these data.
