The dataset contains all the data characterizing a new ultra-high pressure (UHP) unit represented by the garnet-bearing quartzite from the Orco Valley (Western Alps; sample VDO5) from the geochemical and petrological point of view.
Description
The dataset in particular includes the chemical compositions of all the rock-forming minerals (garnet, white mica, white mica included in garnet, epidote, chlorite, and albite) obtained by SEM-EDS (Table S1) and the Raman spectra of coesite (Table S2) and quartz (Table S3) inclusions in garnets.
