Autumn ornithological survey for the Karabatan-Ulke project The occurrence data related to the pattern of bird migration flows in the corridor of the 500 kV overhead power line construction "Karabatan – Ulke" (OHTL).
Description
The primary objectives were to record target bird species and quantitatively assess the level of flight activity in the study area. The fieldwork was conducted from August 24 to October 19, 2024, in the steppe zone of Western Kazakhstan, along the planned OHTL route from the "Ulke" substation in the northern Aktobe region to the "Karabatan" substation in the southern part of the Atyrau region.
