A Darwin Core Dataset of Scorpions (Arachnida: Scorpiones) from the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS) Collections

It provides a complete and up-to-date checklist of all specimens in the collection, including both fully identified specimens and those with incomplete taxonomic determinations (e.g., identified only to family or genus level). The dataset represents a valuable reference resource for research on biodiversity, systematics, and natural history of scorpions, supporting studies on global biodiversity patterns and environmental change.

The data are made available in an open and standardized format, in accordance with FAIR principles, to facilitate interoperability, reuse, and integration with other international scientific resources.
