The Central Siberian Botanical Garden of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (CSBG SB RAS) is the largest botanical institution in the Asian part of Russia.
Description
Founded in 1946, the CSBG SB RAS is historically a consortium of two herbarium collections with their own acronyms (NS and NSK) and registration in the Index Herbariorum. Collections count about 700 000 herbarium specimens of vascular plants gathered in Siberia, Russian Far East, Europe, Asia and America.
Corydalis (from Greek korydalís "crested lark") is a genus of about 540 species of annual and perennial herbaceous plants. Some taxonomists classify the genus as a family Papaveraceae Juss. (Zhang, Su, Liden, 2008) and others as Fumariaceae Marquis.

(Mikhailova, 2012, 2017, 2020, 2021). Corydalis species are the only dicots having only a single cotyledon (seed leaf). Corydalis native to the temperate Northern Hemisphere and the high mountains of tropical eastern Africa.
They are most diverse in China and the Himalayas, with at least 357 species in China, 34 species recorded for Asian Russia (Doronkin, 2012). All 1022 specimens from the genus Corydalis DC. (Papaveraceae Juss.) stored in NS and NSK herbarium collections were digitized and placed in CSBG SB RAS Digital herbarium (herb.csbg.nsc.ru:8081).
For each specimen the species name, locality and geolocation, collection date, collector, ecology and revision label are recorded.
