Previous Archaeological Excavations along the 'Ostlänken' Railway Corridor 1965-2012: Late Neolithic in Fänsåker

Initially this was done in order to create a basis for assessment of the ancient monument’s information value and the costs that a thorough investigation would entail. This latter investigation aimed to determine the dating and relationships of the various relics, and to try to clarify what type of activities the site had been used for.

The ZIP file contains Shape files with information on trenches, ancient monuments, archaeological finds and other data from the archaeological survey, as well as a geo-referenced map of the survey area in GeoTIFF format
