The dataset includes leaf nutrient data, the coefficients of variation of leaf stoichiometric, and environmental data for wild apple trees from China, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan

Plot size was 30m × 30m, and each tree had 8 branches sampled from different directions. Coordinates, altitude, and topography were recorded.

Leaf samples were dried, milled, and analyzed for C, N, P, and K using standard laboratory methods. C and N were measured via an elemental analyzer, P by spectrophotometry, and K using flame spectrophotometry. Environmental factors, including geography (latitude, longitude, altitude), soil (organic carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, pH), climate (MAT, MAP, AI), and vegetation (NDVI) were analyzed.
