I created this file directly form output from file = BTPDs, MCs, 03 Dec 2020 These data are from ONLY THOSE BTPD FEMALES THAT ELICITED >=1 MC REPEAT: No data here for females that elicited 0 MCs Notes for file = BTPDs, MCs, 03 Dec 2020, are immediately below I have checked this file TWO TIMES--once on computer, once with hard copy I started this file from SYSTAT file = MCUC.SYS, which I created on 06 January 1989. I assume that I checked MCUC TWO TIMES when I created it for Hoogland 1995 (my first book) This file has been checked TWO TIMES Notice a few odd case numbers---so that I could insert new cases No information on either Nyanzol dye-markers or eartags in this file Cumulative duration per female comes from the SUM feature in SYSTAT for single Mimes for each female These data used for Fig 16.5 in Hoogland 2026.

This file ready for longterm storage on 22 March 2025. I considered data from the same prairie dog in different years to be independent. All durations are in MINUTES Cumulative time per female for all mating calls = summation of all times for MCs per female Length of each MC = length of each MC for each estrous female (mins) Remember: Many females did not elicit a single MC (i.e., Cumulative number of MCs = 0) This file has NO INFORMATION from females when Cumulative number of MCs = 0 MC = Mating Call Two mating calls were not considered separate unless they were separated by >=30 seconds.
