Replication data and code for:Effects of replacing bare fallow with cover crops on soil physicochemical properties in southern Tibetan cereal cropping systems

This dataset contains the underlying raw data, processed data, and analytical code supporting the findings of the study titled "Effects of replacing bare fallow with cover crops on soil physicochemical properties in southern Tibetan cereal cropping systems".The study investigated the impacts of diverse cover crop species (including oat-common vetch mixture, turnip monoculture, and common vetch monoculture) on soil physicochemical properties during the fallow period, compared to a bare fallow control, in high-altitude agroecosystems of southern Tibet.

The dataset comprises comprehensive field and laboratory measurements of the 0-20 cm soil layer, including key variables such as soil pH, water-stable aggregate rate (WSAR), bulk density, total carbon (TC), total nitrogen (TN), soil organic matter (SOM), C/N ratio, and specific organic carbon and nitrogen fractions.To ensure full reproducibility of the reported results, the accompanying statistical scripts (written in R) are provided.
