Symbiont rotifers and tardigrades and their invertebrate hosts in northwestern Italy

We present here a database on the symbiont rotifers (Rotifera) and tardigrades (Tardigrada) and their invertebrate hosts collected in 67 aquatic sites in Northwestern Italy in 2024 and 2026.
Description
The survey yielded a total of 413 individual invertebrate hosts from 115 species (9 annelids, 98 arthropods, 7 molluscs, and 1 flatworm), hosting nine tardigrades of four species and 594 rotifers of 26 species.
