La Romaine Hydroelectric Complex water chemistry from 2015 to 2023 [Quebec, Canada]

The four reservoirs are Romaine-1 (RO1), Romaine-2 (RO2), Romaine-3 (RO3), and Romaine-4 (RO4). Samples consist of concentrations of total nitrogen (TN in mg/L), total phosphorus (TP, in ug/L), dissolved organic carbon (DOC, in mg/L), dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC, in mg/L), particulate organic carbon (POC, in mg/L), particulate organic nitrogen (PON in mg/L), chlorophyl (Chl-a, in mg/L), and C13 isotopes of POC (in permil dirac delta), and total suspended solids (TSS, in mg/L).

The data set also include the samples type (river, reservoirs, tributary) and if it is a hyporheic sample), latitude and longitude, and river distance (km) for each sample. Sampling consisted of spatial across all the reservoirs (open water and bays) and longitudinal coverage of the reservoirs and river (above and below each reservoir) for each sampling camping (June and August 2015; June, August, and October 2016; June, August, and October 2017; June, August, and October 2018; June, August, and October 2021; June, August, and October 2022; June, August, and October 2023).
