First record of Achalinus hunanensis in Guangxi, China

This dataset contains the first occurrence records of Achalinus hunanensis from Guangxi, China, documented in 2023.
Description
Specimens were collected by hand in forested montane areas of northern Guangxi and subsequently preserved in 75 % ethanol. Species identification followed Ma et al. (2024).
Geographic coordinates were recorded using GPS with an accuracy of 5–10 m. Data are published under CC0 1.0 to facilitate biodiversity research, conservation planning and ecological modelling.
