Listed in GBIF

This is a collection of prepared osteological specimens housed at the DLCMNH.

Description

The collection was founded by researchers interested in primate comparative anatomy. Most of the collection is comprised of primates, especially strepsirrhine primates that were once part of the Duke Lemur Center’s living collection.

The collection also includes a diversity of non-primate mammals and other vertebrates. Some of the DLC strepsirrhines can be associated with life-history records.
