Elementary and Secondary Staff Information Report Files

This series contains data from reports filed by school districts and by individual public elementary and secondary schools. Each district record includes the name and address of the district, Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area code, number of schools operated, number of students enrolled, and the number of f ull time, part time, and newly hired personnel by job classification, sex, and minority group category.

Each school record includes the name and address of the school, the school district code, the grade offered, and the number of full time, part time, and newly hired employees by job classification, sex, and minority group category. Subjects include discrimination and civil rights. This data comprises government records extracted from the Archival Research Catalog (ARC).
