The agency, with assistance from local governments in the Baltimore metropolitan area, created and maintained these records as part of an ongoing nationwide urban data collection project sponsored by the Bureau of Public Roads.
Description
The data were used for highway planning by local, state, and federal agencies. This series contains data from surveys of dwelling units and trips and documentation of road travel conditions in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
The study area includes Baltimore city and the heavily populated portions of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, and Howard counties, Maryland.
