The agency created and maintained the detail records from the Census of Wholesale Trade to tabulate summary statistics and prepare reports for that program.
Description
This series contains the unaggregated data from the Census of Wholesale Trade. There are three main parts: the Basic Data Records, Forms Data, and Lines Data.
In addition, a file with data from Petroleum Wholesalers is also available. Basic data records files contain individual respondent records with data extracted from the Economic Census forms Report of Organization, Enterprise

Summary
Report, Auxiliary Establishment Report, and General Schedule. Data includes basic data on the business establishment such as receipts, employment and payroll, inventories, depreciable assets, capital expenditures, and rental and royalty payments. The Forms Data file contains data collected on forms CB5012, CB5013, and CB5099 from establishments in the motor vehicles, automotive parts and supplies, and miscellaneous durable goods sectors.
The Lines Data files contain data collected on forms CB5012, CB5013, and CB5099, Item 13, Commodity Lines. This data comprises government records extracted from the Archival Research Catalog (ARC). See the ARC catalog entry for this series for more information on this data and how to order it.
