DANS considers data reviews an important instrument for researchers who are interested in using other researchers’ data. Appreciation and comments from fellow researchers offer a new perspective on the data, as well as an indication of the data quality. This feedback can also add to discussions on datasets, and contribute to the formation of researcher communities around specific datasets.

Therefore DANS is carrying out a pilot project among users of datasets from DANS EASY: A group of users has been requested to review the dataset they downloaded.
