Description
Marine microbes, that support the Antarctic food web and play an integral part in carbon cycling, are damaged by UVB. This research determines Antarctic UV climate, biological responses to UV, and combines these elements to predict UV-induced changes in Antarctic marine microbiology.
Included in the download file are 3 spreadsheets and 4 word documents providing further detail about these data. The spreadsheets and word documents are paired up thusly: '1997_98 BactDat.xls' with 1997_98 BactMeth.doc '1997_98 UV.xls' with '1997_98 LightMeth.doc' '1997_98 ProtSpp.xls' with '1997_98 ProtistMeth.doc' EXCEPT for the last three worksheets of '1997_98 ProtSpp.xls' which are paired up with '1997_98 ModellingMethods.doc' Column Headings and methods are outlined in the spreadsheets and word documents.
