Strategy for Peace is the Stanley Foundation's US foreign policy conference that annually assembles a panel of experts from the public and private sectors to assess specific policy issues and to recommend future direction.
Description
The October 1998 conference was organized around the foundation's Emerging from Conflict program, an initiative launched to explore the US relationship with a number of current and recent adversaries.
Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, and Vietnam are the focus of this Stanley Foundation report. Report includes: 'Opening Remarks' from Richard H. Stanley, and sections on 'Cuba and the US'; 'US, Iran, and Iraq'; 'US and North Korea'; 'US and Vietnam'; followed by a concluding essay and web links.
