Taiwan Area Mesoscale Experiment: Daily Operations Summary

This report is intended to provide researchers with a brief description of the facilities that operated in the field, a daily summary of weather conditions and an overview of the scientific objectives and operations during the 13 IOPs.

Section 2.0 contains a summary of the IOPs that researchers can use as a quick reference to determine what operations took place during the program. Section 3.0 gives a brief overview of the different facilities that operated in the field, and some of the data recording characteristics of that facility. This section is divided into five categories: 1) upper-air, 2) surface mesonetwork, 3) radars, 4) VHF wind Profiler, and 5) aircraft.
