Borrowed Scaffolds: Substantiation Through a Source

This paper formalizes how that works within the Language of Stress, a value-primitive theory of consciousness, and what happens when the source it was handed through fails.</p><p dir="ltr">It supplies the three definitions that the constraint map for the framework, What a Value Primitive Forbids, cites as forthcoming.

Definition 1: an archetype is borrowed to the extent that its place in the topography depends on valenced experience of a source rather than contact with what it concerns. Definition 2: an archetype sits on a borrowed scaffold to the extent that its place would not survive the failure of the scaffold's sources, and beside it to the extent that it depends on contact. Definition 3: an audit is the comparison of a borrowed archetype with later contact with what it concerns. </p><p dir="ltr">The paper adds one device, the open-ended source archetype of delegation, and otherwise specializes the constraint map's shared-element and dependency principles.
