A Cow Dung and Chicken Manure Mixed Compost and Its Preparation Method

The compost consists of 7~9 parts of cow dung, 1~3 parts of chicken manure and 1~3 parts of corn straw, with the optimal effect achieved by mixing 8 parts of cow dung with 2 parts of chicken manure. For preparation, the raw materials are weighed in proportion and put into a composting device, then a fermentation broth prepared by mixing Parabacillus thermoglucosidasius and Symbiobacterium thermophilum at a 1:1 ratio is added at an inoculum size of 1%, followed by uniform mixing and fermentation.

This method can improve composting efficiency, shorten the composting cycle and enhance fertilizer nutrients; the temperature and humidity are controllable during the composting process, the contents of total phosphorus, potassium and humic acid are increased, and the organic matter content meets the standard. It realizes the recycling of agricultural organic waste and is suitable for the ecological conservation needs of black soil regions.
