Transcriptome profile of hypergravity-induced enhanced wheat root growth

Listed in NCBI GEO

We report for the first time the transcriptome profiling of hypergravity-induced enhanced wheat root growth phenotype.

Description

Hypergravity, specifically 10g for 12hrs induced enhanced root length phenotype in greenhouse conditions. We investigated the molecular basis of this altered phenotype through whole transcriptome analysis.

We identified the differentially expressed transcripts, gene ontology terms, transcription factors, and candidate genes that could be attributed to the enhanced root growth phenotype. Based on this transcriptome data, we also proposed a model describing the mechanism of hypergravity-induced root growth phenotype in wheat.
