Artifacts for: Identifiability of Relational Queries in Multi-View Pretraining

Listed in DaRUS

This dataset contains the complete replication artifacts for the paper Identifiability of Relational Queries in Multi-View Pretraining (Ratan Bahadur Thapa and Daniel Hernández).

Description

The paper studies when a relational query is identifiable from a data-integration interface—that is, when every legal completion of the data consistent with the interface returns the same answer—and introduces two polynomial-time schema-design algorithms: CheckCert, which decides certification via an attribute-closure certificate, and Greedy-MinAug, which selects a near-minimum set of interface actions (resolvers, crosswalks, shared identifiers) that make a query identifiable.

The deposit has three parts: Experiment code (Python). Implementations of both algorithms, the full experimental pipeline (error-floor, capability-jump, minimum-augmentation, certificate-benchmark, scalability, and real-world witness-discovery experiments), and the builders for every dataset used in the paper—a synthetic benchmark with exhaustive ground truth, the BibInteg bibliographic dataset, and the real cross-source datasets CrossKG-DBLP (OpenAlex × DBLP), Amazon-Google, and Fodors-Zagat, alongside the WDC schema case study.

All figures and tables are regenerable from a documented set of Makefile targets. Lean 4 formalization. Machine-checked proofs of the paper's core results: correctness of the atom-wise closure certificate, the information-theoretic 1/2 error floor, the robust-threshold guarantee, the FD/Armstrong closure correspondence, and the reduction of identifiability to query determinacy over overlap-projection views (including Fano's inequality).

The distributional Fano corollary, the general capability-jump theorem, and the MinAug greedy bound and NP-hardness are documented as open in the formalization. Supplementary material. Artifacts referenced by the paper: BibInteg statistics, extended ML results, and FD-completeness curves.

Software dependencies and exact reproduction commands are given in the included README; provenance and licensing are in CITATION.cff and LICENSE. The artifacts accompany the arXiv preprint arXiv:2607.04735.
