Description
This series contains information from three quarterly coal surveys (coal consumption at manufacturing plants, coal distribution, and coal consumption at coke plants) and two monthly surveys of electric utilities. This series includes quarterly information on coal production, exports, imports, receipts, consumption, delivered prices, and stock.
The data is aggregated prima rily by state and by end use sector (electric utilities, coke plants, other industrials, and residential / commercial users). This data comprises government records extracted from the Archival Research Catalog (ARC). See the ARC catalog entry for this series for more information on this data and how to order it.
