The dataset includes 2184 records of mammals identified in the pellets of birds of prey (mainly owls) in 1924-2010 and covers most regions of Ukraine.
Description
Mammal species occurrences are presented according to the data in scientific publications devoted to the diet of raptors (Pidoplichko, 1937; Pidoplichko, 1963; Kuznetsov and Kondratenko, 1999; Kondratenko et al., 2001, 2006; Zaitseva, Drebet, 2007; Buchko, Cheremnykh, 2008; Polishchuk, 2008; Peklo et al., 2010; Mishta et al., 2012).
