LWF Lägeren long-term research site

Description
 This research site is located on the southern slope of the Lägern, which forms the eastern most part of the Jura mountains, within a managed mixed deciduous forest. The forest is highly diverse, dominated by beech, but also including ash, maple, spruce and fir trees.
Eddy covariance flux measurements were started in April 2004. The site was part of the international CarboEurope IP network and currently part of the following national networks:
