Estonian Marine Institute Vimba bream (Vimba vimba L.) scales

Vimba bream scale samples are primarily collected through scientific sampling of commercial fisheries and gill net surveys.
Description
Older samples from rivers are also available. For each specimen, the total length, individual weight, sex, and maturity stage are recorded, and scales are collected for age determination.
Both the scales and the associated data are deposited in the archives of the Estonian Marine Institute, University of Tartu.
