Community food markets and farmers markets

Community food markets are small markets for the sale of fresh, healthy and/or locally-prepared fruits and vegetables, aimed at making nutritious food more accessible. They are typically operated in partnership with social service agencies and non-profit organizations.

Farmers markets are public markets at which farmers and other agricultural producers and small artisan food businesses sell directly to consumers. While these community food markets and farmers markets are located within city boundaries, and some on City and Park Board lands, they are not administered by the City.
