FILE DESCRIPTION Keywords: BGUW, clan types per species File name: Fig 10.9, BGUW, Coterie types and clan types per species, 18 Dec 2025 Overall percentages across all years for No-male, Half-male, One-male, and Multi-male coteries/clans for all four species of prairie dogs. 14 Feb 2025 For this figure, I have excluded data from coteries and clans with 0 females that copulated. For annual variation in the types of clans for each species, see Fig 10.1.
All data in this EXCEL file were checked TWO TIMES at creation, Raw data for this EXCEL file are in EXCEL file for Fig 10.1 of Hoogland 2026. These data used for Figure 10.9 in Hoogland 2026. This file ready for longterm storage on 11 Feb 2025.

Clan type = 0 = No male clan = no resident sexually mature male Clan type = 0.5 = half-male clan = two clans shared the same single sexually mature male Clan type = 1 = one-male clan = single sexually mature male in single territory Clan type = 2 = multi-male clan = single clan territory with >=2 sexually mature males No GPD clan had >2 sexually mature males For this EXCEL file I assumed that data from the same coterie or clan from different years were independent.
