This dataset contains element concentrations of quantitative element screenings (ICP-MS, 70+ elements) conducted on filtered water samples and the filtered material (cut-off 0.22 μm) from samples taken in the Gulf of Bothnia during 2013 and 2014.
Description
The purpose of the study was to observe changes in the dissolved and particulate element concentrations along a slowly increasing salinity gradient. The Gulf of Bothnia was sampled during spring flood and post-flood.
Spring flood samples were collected in May and June 2013. Post-flood samples were collected in July 2014. All sampling stations were sampled at depths of 0.5, 5 and 10 m from the coast guard vessel KBV005 in May and June 2013.
